Every funeral that we conduct is tailored to the individual choices and requirements of the bereaved family. We will endeavour to fulfil as many of the wishes set out as possible.

On the day of the funeral the staff from Graham Tresidder & Son will be there to
help and guide you, your family and friends through the proceedings. Do not

Yes, a funeral can be held anywhere with the agreement of the venue and anyone can conduct a funeral service by instruction of the family, this could be a family member, friend, civil or humanist celebrant. There is no set criteria or content required for a funeral ceremony to take place.

We can guide you on placing a Death Notice, Obituary or Acknowledgement into a specific local or national newspaper, many notices may now also appear on online tribute pages.

Family members are more than welcome to assist with the carrying of a loved one’s coffin. We would discuss this during the arrangement process and advise those taking part on the day of best safe practices.

There is space for 7 passengers in a limousine.

We have a private chapel of rest situated at our premises in Wistaston, where a family can arrange to come and spend time with their loved one.

During the arrangement process we would have asked what the wishes are for your loved one’s ashes in the future. Depending on the request, we will bring your loved one’s ashes into our care after the funeral service has taken place.

Funeral services have evolved greatly over the course of the last few years and there are now a wide variety of funeral vehicles available for example Horse & Carriage, Motorcycle Hearse, Land Rover Hearse, Camper Van funeral vehicles and many more. We would endeavour to source a suitable vehicle for specific requests at the time of need.

We work with many fantastic manufacturers and suppliers enabling us to offer a wide variation of coffin choices from Traditional styles through to coloured, engraved & bespoke coffins but also Eco-Friendly styles for example cardboard, willow, seagrass and many more.

A family may already have a destination in mind for refreshments after a funeral service, but we can offer options & recommendations in the local area if necessary.

A prepaid funeral plan allows you to plan and pay for your funeral in advance. A funeral plan can save your family worry and expense, helping to make things easier for your loved ones at a difficult time. We work alongside Golden Charter to provide tailored funeral plans.
